How upgrades work
Free → Expert: “I want to build my own perspective.” We provision a repo for you — no GitHub needed. Your interview perspective imports automatically as the foundation for your own.
Expert → Expert + GitHub: “I want multiple perspectives or version control.” Connect your GitHub account. Write to any repo where the app is installed. Your managed repo is still there — now you can also work across your own repos.
Expert → Team: “I want my team to collaborate.” Your repo transfers to your own GitHub account. You add team members. Everyone reads and writes to the same perspective — live, not snapshots.
Team → Organization: “I want a private catalogue for my org.” We scope an engagement, interview your experts, and build role perspectives.
Data ownership
On every tier, your perspective is yours. Expert repos are managed by aswritten but your data is portable. On Team and above, you own the repo directly in your own GitHub account.
The perspectives you install from others are cited expertise — you see the expert’s claims and reasoning, not their raw source material. The creator’s proprietary knowledge stays protected.
